Room of the Future Layouts

Available Layouts

These are the layouts available for all organizations with Room of the Future type of room.

Note that capacities may vary depending on the hardware (number of screens in room) and the seats layout chosen.

Default Layout

The standard layout allows the maximum capacity of the room.

  • All virtual members (participants and remote presenter/s) have a similar seat in the wall.
  • The fewer pax in the layout chosen, the bigger the space each one will occupy in the videowall.
  • The blank space at the bottom of the wall symbolizes the Presentation Box and/or the Presenter Camera.

XL Active App

The XL Active App layout is used for a better display of content in the physical room.

  • The space in the center of the wall is intended for the Presentation.
  • The screens around it are filled with the participants, their size depending on the room capacity.

XL Seat

The XL Seat layout is used to highlight the lecture of a special guest in the session.

  • The center seat in wall is intended for that participant (usually, a Remote Presenter).
    • Note that this participant is added to room as any other user (name, email, position).
  • The screens around it are filled with the participants, their size depending on the room capacity.
  • The blank space at the bottom of the wall symbolizes the Presentation Box and/or the Presenter Camera.

XL Speaker

The XL Seat layout, implemented on November 2021, is used to display the person speaking at each moment, and allows the Presenter in Room to focus in one single place while different participants intervene.

  • The central space in the wall is intended for the Current Speaker stream.
    • It is a cloned view of the person speaking, in addition to that participant's seat in wall.
    • Note that it only applies to virtual Participants or Remote Presenters, it will never show the Presenter in Room or special roles (Assistant or Translator/s).
  • The screens around it are filled with the participants, their size depending on the room capacity.
  • The blank space at the bottom of the wall symbolizes the Presentation Box and/or the Presenter Camera.
