What can Mentimeter be used for?
Mentimeter is an easy-to-use presentation software with which you can create fun and interactive presentations and questions for your events, lectures and workshops.

How to use Mentimeter within mashme.io?
First Steps in Mentimeter
To open a Mentimeter presentation within mashme.io, it is necessary that it has previously been created in Mentimeter, hence be a registered user in that platform (sign up in Mentimeter).
Mentimeter does not require any software download or installation, as it is a web based app.
How to embed a Mentimeter presentation
To insert a presentation in mashme.io, please follow these steps:
- Go to Present/Create and choose Mentimeter
- Assign a name for your presentation in mashme (not necessary that it matches the one in Mentimeter)
- Paste the code of your presentation (obtained from Mentimeter, see instructions below)
- Click on CREATE
- Note that all these indications are also available in the interface by clicking on the info button (bottom left corner of the screen)

- Note that collaboration can be unlocked on the padlock (top right) to allow people participate in the presentation; permissions will then correspond to the ones set in the sharing options of that file in Mentimeter
- Once the Mentimeter embedded app is closed, it will be stored in the room as any other file
- Note the symbol used in mashme.io to identify this type of files
How to obtain the code of your Mentimeter presentation
- Open Mentimeter on a new tab
- Register/Login into Mentimeter
- Create a Presentation or use (open and edit, if necessary) an existing one
- Click on the Presentation menu (three dots in top right corner - either from "My Presentations" list or from inside the presentation itself) and select Share
- Copy the desired link
- Note that the user can choose from the following links to share a Mentimeter file:
- Voting link for Participation
- Live Results link for Presentation

- Go back to mashme.io tab and paste the code
