Participant gets M208 error when logging in with SSO

Participant gets presented with M208 error when trying to access the platform


Problem

Participant is not able to log into the platform using SSO and gets the following error screen.




Cause

This error is generated because you have been authenticated by your corporate Identity Provider but are not authorized to access mashme, as you are using a wrong authentication method (SSO).

Although your organization is using SSO, your mashme account is not defined to use this method.


Solution

To be able to join mashme, you will need to use the standard authentication method (regular mashme username and password).

Contact mashme support for further details or if you need your account switched to using SSO.
