From release v3.8.24 (20.08.2020) on, screen sharing with audio is possible.
This means the audio can also be captured and sent along with the screen sharing when you click on the checkbox.
Prior to this release, it was only possible to send the video.
Depending on the browser and platform, the checkbox only appears in some of the screen sharing options:
- Chrome / Edge / Opera + Windows:
- Your Entire Screen
- Chrome Tab
- Chrome / Edge / Opera + Mac/Linux:
- Chrome Tab
- Other browsers (Firefox , Safari) don't support this feature
- "Application Window" option does not allow to share the audio in any browser/OS
- Note that Opera and Edge are not officially supported browsers
