There are several ways (all available both in Windows and Mac OS) of changing Camera and Microphone permissions on a browser:
a) Using Prompts:
- Open browser (Chrome / Firefox / Opera / Edge)
- Go to https://test.mashme.io/
- When prompted, choose Allow
b) Changing devices permissions, camera & microphone (see details below)
c) Clicking on the Padlock icon (see details below)

![]() Safari | Safari currently does not support the WebRTC video standard, which is one of the protocols that our platform needs. We recomend using alternative browsers (aforementioned). |
· Further settings:
- If you're using a work/school device:
- Your network administrator may have set camera/microphone settings for you.
- In that case, you won't be able to change them as explained before.
- Check the Privacy Settings in your device:
- If you are running Windows 10 OS or later:
- Go to: Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera / Microphone
- Check that the Camera/Microphone have access allowed
- If you are running MAC OS 10.14.x (Mojave) or later:
- Go to: System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy tab
- Check that the Camera/Microphone are allowed in the desired Browser
- If you are running Windows 10 OS or later:
